Two new Masters 60 are added to our training courses!

24.04.2024
From September 2024, we are delighted to be adding two new Masters 60 with staggered hours: Advertising and Cultural and Social Communication.

As you may know, we launched two Master 60s in September 2023: one in Public Relations and the other in Journalism.

In addition to these two new courses, there are two Masters with staggered hours in Advertising and Cultural and Social Communication!

Like the two Masters already underway, these courses are aimed at people who already have a Master's degree and who wish to enhance certain skills or simply reorient themselves professionally.

The courses will take place at our various locations 2 evenings per week as well as on Saturdays.

The Master 60 in Cultural and Social Communication

This training in cultural and social communication takes place over one year.

It is aimed at professionals and people interested in the creative and innovative sector of arts and culture.

It allows you to acquire knowledge and tools thanks to passionate teachers and experts from the professional world. The pedagogy is also nourished by the exchange of practices, critical perspective and the highlighting of participants' "soft skills".

Upon completion, the student will be able to understand the challenges of the cultural sector, design a cultural mediation system and communicate their project in an appropriate manner by identifying innovative communication practices. They will then also be able to conceptualise, produce, finance, manage and defend a cultural project in all its complexity.

The Master 60 in Advertising

This Master's programme offers a practical and application-oriented approach to skills in the professional world of advertising and commercial communication. Each module is designed to develop specific skills required in the sector, allowing professionals to acquire directly applicable knowledge and position themselves effectively in the job market. You can find out more on the page dedicated to this Master.

An information session is already planned!

We look forward to seeing you on 20 June for a hybrid information session! We invite you to follow the session either in person at IHECS or via Zoom from home.

What is the Master 60?

The Master 60 is a 1-year Master's degree recognised by the French community. It is a Master's degree in the same way as a Master's degree 120, but does not allow you to pursue third-cycle studies, particularly at the doctoral level.

The difference between a Master 60 and 120 at IHECS

As their names indicate, these Masters are fundamentally different, and even more so at IHECS.

Our Master 120s are a delicate combination of theoretical and practical training, languages and media. They prepare our full-time students, who have completed our Bachelor's degree in applied communication, for the world of work. They aim to make them directly autonomous and trained for the job market.

On the other hand, the Master 60s are aimed at people who have already completed training, want to deepen their training or simply change direction. Given the nature of these training courses, they are organised in the evenings and on Saturdays to allow people who are professionally active to resume their studies. Our Master 60s are primarily focused on reflection on the participants' practices and on case studies.

With these two new Master 60s, we are therefore offering 4 Masters with staggered hours!
