ORGANIC FOOD?

A few decades ago, organic food was produced by small-scale, locally sourced, sustainable agricultural farmers and sold in specialised health food stores. But when large corporations started doing the same, people began to have doubts about this food; lack of trust and transparency became issues. Organic food became a topic of heated debate among food experts, researchers, farmers, consumers and many others. ‘Organic Food: Can We Trust It?’ is an eye-opening documentary that questions the way we trust the labels on organic products. This project is based on the thought-provoking words of Eric Hoffer, who said: “Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket.”Vimeo.
