Creating a Bondy Blog for Burkina Faso
The Pan-African Institute of Study and Research on Media, Information and Communication (IPERMIC), located in Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso, aims to enhance the democratic process within Burkina Faso with the help of a new online citizen platform. With its solid experience in citizen media (thanks to the creation of its own Bondy Blog), IHECS will be able to share its expertise with IPERMIC and support it in setting up a similar media. In order to ensure the proper coordination of the project, study trips will be organised to and from IPERMIC.

"Contribute to democratisation. Citizen media and journalism training"
IHECS collaborates with Burkina Faso. In 2018, with the support of the Joint Standing Committee (Direct Bilateral Cooperation Project), a project was launched with the title "Contribute to democratisation. Citizen media and journalism training". (2018-2022)
Through teacher mobility, the emphasis is on training independent journalists. On top of that, we are aiming for the local production of an online citizen media and the involvement of young people from Burkina Faso.
Partner: IPERMIC (Institut panafricain d’étude et de recherche sur les médias, l’information et la communication de l’Université de Ouagadougou I Pr Joseph Ki-Zerbo).
