The "Franc’Horizons" press conference at LOFT 58!
For one morning, LOFT 58 was decked out in the colours of Francofolies de Spa to welcome some 40 journalists, press officers and professionals from the cultural sector for the press conference presenting Franc’Horizons, introduced by Jean-François Raskin, our General Manager.
It was an opportunity for Jean Steffens, co-director of Francofolies de Spa, to present this new project aimed at showcasing artists from all over the French-speaking world: Belgium, Rwanda, Ivory Coast, France, Switzerland, Quebec, Morocco, and so on.
Pierre-Yves Jeholet, Minister President of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, also had the opportunity to address the importance of culture, in dire straits following two years of Covid lockdown measures, and the profound strength of song and its ability to impart emotions that remain rooted within us.
The morning concluded with two songs performed live by Belgian singer and guitarist Jali, a former student of IHECS.
