IHECS is officially the owner of a new building!
We are delighted to announce that IHECS has just officially acquired the building located at Boulevard A. Reyers 80, also known as “Blue Point”! This project represents a watershed moment for the institution, marking its third move since its foundation in 1958.
On 20 August, a delegation from IHECS, led by Denis Grimberghs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the IHECS ASBL, accompanied by Luc De Meyer, Director of Haute École Galilée, General Manager Jean-François Raskin and IHECS Director Frédéric Moens, visited the offices of the notary firm Martroye de Joly et De Ruydts to formalise the purchase of the building from Agoria Real Estate.
By acquiring this new, modern and strategically located property in Schaerbeek, IHECS is bolstering its position as a major player in the development of communication and media professions, while enhancing proximity to key players in the sector in Brussels.
This building will become the new central hub of IHECS, convening all of its services and departments within a single location. This investment is part of a desire to offer an ever more dynamic learning environment adapted to the requirements of journalism and communication professions.
The integration of this new building marks a key step in the development of IHECS, offering further opportunities to innovate and welcome a constantly evolving student community.
IHECS will move into its new facilities from the start of the 2026 academic year.
