Visit by a UIR delegation to IHECS

From 22 to 25 January 2020, IHECS had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from the International University of Rabat (Université internationale de Rabat (UIR)) to discuss a variety of partnerships.

Comprising Mohamed Abdellaoui Andaloussi Maane, Executive Vice-President Exécutif of UIR and Director General of Continuing Education, Abdessamad El Fatmi, Dean of the Language, Culture and Civilisation Faculty and Abdellatif Bencherifa, Advisor to the President and Dean of the College of Humanities and Political, Legal and Social Sciences, the Moroccan delegation came to find out more about the IHECS educational project in communication and journalism.

During these few days, they also attended the presentations of the media dissertations of our 2nd year master students and held long working meetings with various managers of our master programmes as well as with the director of the IHECS Academy, Laure Englebert.

In addition, a dinner was organised between the members of the IHECS management and the delegation in the presence of his Excellency the Moroccan Ambassador to Belgium, Mohamed Ameur. They discussed the possible partnerships between the two institutions, particularly in the context of the launch of their communication and journalism degree from September 2020.

 Université International de Rabat

UIR was founded in September 2010 and offers multidisciplinary training covering many areas, ranging from Engineering and Architecture, to Law and Political Science, with a Business School, Management, Actuarial Science and Logistics, and finally, Dental Medicine.

UIR also intends to establish a university hospital and a medical faculty.
