Launch of the year of sustainable development at IHECS!
This initiative is based on the conviction that the climate crisis is a global issue, and that by uniting different cultures and experiences, IHECS would be more able to find solutions. This is why the IHECS International Exchanges Office has set up an international project bringing together actors from the world of communication and other scientific fields that are sensitive to this cause.
One year to gain an understanding, the second year to take action
For two years, IHECS will offer a variety of activities aimed at gaining a real understanding of the foundations of sustainable development, so that concrete action can then be taken, as students and then as communication professionals.
During this first year, students will benefit from visits by various international experts who will appear mainly on the BAC3 and Master courses, and occasionally at external events. The IHECS International Exchanges Office will also organise "Sustainable development lunchbreaks", which will take place every last Wednesday of the month. Different case studies combining communication and sustainable development will be discussed during the lunch hour. Finally, the Advertising department launched a challenge this year for its students to integrate a sustainability imperative into their end of study projects.
Sustainable development lunchbreak
To launch this cycle of the "Sustainable development lunchbreak", IHECS will welcome Knock Knock Prod, a committed communications agency, on Wednesday 27 November. Sarah Lenoir and her partner, both alumni of IHECS, will try to show you that it is possible to communicate in a positive and ethical manner and explain the stages involved in the creation of a committed communications agency.
