Wilson Fache wins the 2023 Albert Londres Prize!
"A rare writer, a talent for evocation, an ability to transport his readers…" – these are some of the comments made by Hervé Brusini, President of the jury of the Albert Londres prize when he named Wilson Fache the overall winner of the 85th Written Journalism Prize.
Wilson has been a young independent war reporter for several years now. From Afghanistan to Ukraine, Wilson has covered the various conflicts that have marked recent years with his powerful photos and his unique style.
The Written Journalism Prize rewards our Alumnus, an independent journalist, who produces his photos and articles for RTBF, AFP, CNN, L'Orient-Le Jour, l’Echo, Libération and many other media.
Although he graduated from IHECS in 2015, Wilson still makes his presence known at IHECS. In fact, we were able to count on his participation at the First European Journalism Conference hosted by IHECS last year, but also at the 60/60 exhibition to celebrate the 60th anniversary of IHECS in photography.
The entire IHECS community would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Wilson on this fabulous prize!
The Albert Londres Prize
Considered one of the most prestigious prizes in the field of journalism, the Albert Londres Prize has celebrated the best French-speaking "great reporters" since 1932. It is divided into three different categories: written journalism, audiovisual and books.
